CHARITY NON LEAGUE FOOTBALL BLOG

Each year, me and my wife Hazel have decided to help a different CHARITY, by donating 25p every goal we see at the matches we attend.
Over the years, people and clubs from as far as Coxhoe in Durham down to Penzance in Cornwall have donated as we have visited the grounds and we have raised over £3,500 in the 4 seasons we have run the Charity Blog. As you can see from the Photo above, last season(2014-15) we raised £1325.00 for Support Dogs.

During the 2015-16 season, we are supporting 2 worthy causes

1. THE FOXTON CENTRE
2. INTEGRITAS

Both Charities aid homeless people and people with mental issues and vulnerable adults. So if you would
like to make a donation(no matter how small) and
you see me at a match, please come up to me or Hazel, we would be very grateful. All Donators will get a mention on the blog and the running total is on the left hand side.

Many Thanks

Rob & Hazel Hornby

PRECISION NOTTINGHAMSHIRE SENIOR LEAGUE AGM 2015

PRECISION NOTTINGHAMSHIRE SENIOR LEAGUE AGM 2015

The AGM off the Precision Nottinghamshire Senior Football League took place at Wollaton FC, with the League Chairman Mr Ian Kirk giving a review of the 2014-15 season. Mr Kirk then gave a short but strong talk about Mr John Beeston and how his work will be missed by all on the Notts Senior League committee, which was met by some "Hear Hear" and a large round of applause by all the clubs in attendance.

The clubs voted in a new League Secretary in Mrs Tracie Witton and a new League Registrar in Mr Rob Hornby. The clubs then voted on the FA Rule changes and new League rule changes to be adopted for the 2015-16 season and then the League Structure with 18 clubs in the newly named Premier Division and also 18 clubs in the First Division and 16 clubs in the Second Division.

The evening ended with several awards announced by the League Chairman Mr Ian Kirk and presented by League Committee Man Mr Frank Hunt, then 2 awards presented by Shawn Hornby, before the final trophy given out by Mr Ian Kirk.

The 2015-16 Precision League Groundhop clubs were asked to stay behind for 5 minutes for a quick chat and issued with the Groundhop fixtures and dates and a meeting will take place towards the end of July before advanced tickets will go out on sale with all information.

Finally a donation of £62 was kindly sent by Mr John Beeston for the Blogs Charity which takes the running total to just over £310. A Big thankyou to John.
